PAT Testing
By law all businesses with employees, or let properties (including holiday accommodation), must have all their portable appliances (basically anything that is not part of the building’s main wiring) tested on a regular basis, normally every year. It is likely that your insurance requires it as well, and may well be invalid if it is not done. However, AJP Services can make this often onerous task considerably easier by:
 
o        Offering a full PAT test capability, including non-damaging testing of IT equipment, at extremely competitive rates (currently £1.75 per item). We are fully qualified in PAT testing and interpreting the results to City & Guilds standards.
o        Completely managing your PAT requirements for you at no additional cost. We will identify every item that requires testing in your business and maintain a full log of the results of the tests for you (we will give you a duplicate copy but you can just file it). When re-testing is due we will contact you to find dates that suit your business, and then re-test, log and re-schedule with minimal intrusion. We are qualified in PAT management to City and Guilds standards.

Business repair service
We offer a responsive and competitive repair service to local businesses so that you may be confident that your problems will be quickly and effectively dealt with. We charge only for the work we do (to the nearest ½ hour) and parts we use, there is no working hours call out, administration or site fee, and therefore no need for you to wait for several things to go wrong before calling for help. We will tackle the smallest jobs with the same high standards as the bigger ones and, for a small additional charge, we can visit early evening if that suits your business and customers better.
 
To landlords and holiday home owners we offer a full repair service on the same terms, within the working day you only pay for what needs doing. We also offer an emergency callout for out of hours repairs with a low callout fee, a service we can provide for you or your tenants.
